The protection of your personal data is very important to us. We treat your data with the utmost care and in accordance with the applicable laws and this privacy policy.

Therefore we collect only those personal data that are necessary for the respective purpose (e.g. newsletter). Your data will not be disclosed to third parties without your explicit consent. We use servers in Switzerland and use servers in the European Union and the USA only as far as necessary. The services used guarantee that your data will be processed in accordance with Swiss data protection law.

Cookies

We do not use cookies and do not store IP addresses that allow us to track individual users. Only cookies necessary for the functioning of the website and to simplify its use are collected. A cookie is a small piece of data that a website stores on the visitor’s computer or mobile device. Cookies do not cause any damage, but serve to ensure the technical functioning and user-friendliness of the website. Some cookies remain stored on your computer or mobile device until you delete them. They enable your browser to be recognized on your next visit, which is technically necessary for our questionnaire in particular. You can prevent the installation of cookies by adjusting your browser software accordingly.

Newsletter

We send out newsletters at regular intervals to inform you about our activities. Upon registration, we collect your e-mail address, first name and surname. This information is exclusively for the purpose of sending the newsletter. We also apply a so-called double opt-in procedure for registration: In addition to entering your data, you must confirm your registration by selecting a link in an e-mail that is automatically sent to you. Only then will your details be included in our database. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time and without giving reasons. To do so, you can click on the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of one of our newsletters.

The newsletters are sent via "MailChimp", a newsletter dispatch platform of the US provider Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE #5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA. The e-mail addresses and other subscribers’ data described here are stored on MailChimp servers in the USA. MailChimp uses this information to send and evaluate the newsletter on our behalf. MailChimp uses the data to optimize its own service. Newsletter recipients are not contacted by MailChimp and their data will not be passed on to third parties. Further issues

For data protection reasons, we do not use Google Analytics on our website. We use Matomo to evaluate information about the use of our website. For the functioning of our questionnaire we are dependent on the use of cookies. However, the data entered is not evaluated by us and no statistics are compiled, nor is it possible to link the data with personal data entered elsewhere.
